Will we get freedom from the Coronavirus pandemic? Will we be able to walk freely outside our houses? When will we get released from this COVID-19?
There are thousands of questions rambling in our minds, in search of the earliest response. Who has the answers to these questions? Our government or health organizations. I could think of none.
After the freedom of 73 years, we are again captivated by Coronavirus or COVID‑19 which affects directly the respiratory system. We are forced to stay at home and locked in the fear of infection.
As of 14 August 2020, starting from China (Wuhan), more than 20.9 million cases have been reported across 188 countries and territories, with more than 759,000 deaths. More than 13 million people have recovered from this scary pandemic, but the major impact has been on old-age people and small children or people with fewer immune systems.
The most common symptoms noticed are fever, dry cough, tiredness. Less common symptoms are pains, sore throat, diarrhea, conjunctivitis, headache, loss of taste or smell, rash on the skin, discoloration on fingers or toes.
Serious/severe symptoms, as recorded, are difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure, loss of speech or movement.

Though, it is a fight of each individual, but this is not a fight against any country or human being. Each one of us has a role to play to be independent of the Coronavirus disease. Regardless of many precautionary measures taken by the governments, the count of the COVID-19 infected people is still increasing. The most important reason for this is the lack of self-alertness, or you can simply say ignorance.
Simple actions that will keep you safe are staying inside your house, improving immunity, physical and mental health to cope up with the unpleasant situation. Avoid visiting any public gathering or marketplace, relatives or friends, try to use personal vehicles and least use of public transport.
Always, cover your mouth and nose and avoid touching your face whenever you are out of your house. Wash your hands and clothes immediately after returning home and take some hot drinks.
If you find any symptoms, quickly consult a doctor and take correct precautions.
Yes, we can together fight against this pandemic by keeping physical distance and connecting virtually. Utilize the technologies, and spend some time with yourself.

It has been more than six months, and there is no sign of relief. The researchers and scientists are working hard to get an effective solution to control this infectious disease. Till then, take action and play your part to protect yourself as well as your surroundings.
